Concept Statement: I decided to make up Arthur Ashe’s silhouette with a road map showcasing the road that will be named after him. I wanted to capture the essence of Arthur, not just showcase his achievements in tennis and charity work, but a simple image that represents him. I feel that the silhouette is recognizable and captures his nature. I also incorporated the color scheme and imagery of the Arthur Ashe Boulevard brand.
